Inspired by the captivating Amalfi Coast, Villa Amaranta brings a taste of this breath-taking coast line to Plymouth.

Employing  a kitchen team of high calibre, led by Executive Chef Paul Maders, who embraces the skill, care and passion that embodies Italian cooking and takes a wholly artisan approach to Villa Amaranta’s menu. Paul and his brigade make the most of well-sourced and exceptional ingredients, working with local suppliers wherever possible.

The menu showcases dishes synonymous with rustic Italy, cooked with precision and with ingredients whose provenance is of primary concern, with fresh pasta handmade in house each day.

Catering for all diets, gluten free versions of all pasta dishes are offered, and an abundance of intriguing vegetarian and vegan dishes make up a healthy proportion of the menu.

Villa Amaranta also serves Afternoon Tea offering both the quintessential Devon Cream tea version, and a captivating Italian inspired equivalent.

With a background in gastro pubs and wine bars, there’s not a lot that Rob doesn’t know about drinks and delivering that all important service with a smile.
