About Us

Nestled in the iconic ‘Dome’ building on Hoe Road, Plymouth, Villa Amaranta offers a high-quality experience; all-day casual dining and cocktails with an authentic Italian twist. The Dome, one of Plymouth’s most famous landmarks, first opened in 1989 as a museum. It was transformed into a restaurant in 2011 and now Villa Amaranta is set to bring a new lease of life to the much-loved venue with a fresh approach to all-day Italian dining.

Employing a kitchen team of high calibre, led by Executive Chef Paul Maders, the team will deliver a restaurant experience that caters to all occasions, from casual lunchtime to memorable dining experiences. There is also three semi-private bookable areas that will each offer a more intimate experience, ideal for important business lunches and special occasions.

Villa Amaranta is just a short walk from Plymouth’s shops, theatres and attractions.
